TESLA MODEL 3 (2025): GREAT APPLIANCE, NOT A DRIVER’S CAR

A recording from Daily Crypto News's live video

Matt took a new 2025 Tesla Model 3 out for a spin and came away with a pretty clear takeaway. As an everyday car, it’s improved. The ride is smoother, the cabin is quieter, and the interior feels more refined with softer materials and a cleaner, more cohesive design. The screen, software, and cameras are still best-in-class, and the audio system continues to stand out as one of the biggest highlights, to the point where it genuinely changes the driving experience and brings you back into enjoying music again.

But once you get past that surface-level polish, the issues show up quickly. It’s fast in a straight line, but it’s not a performance car. In corners, it feels unstable compared to something like a Porsche Boxster, and that difference becomes obvious the moment you try to push it. More frustrating are the design decisions. Removing turn signal stalks and moving core driving functions like shifting into the touchscreen makes basic actions more complicated and, at times, unsafe. It’s not innovation, it’s friction.

The conclusion is simple. This is a great commuter. It’s efficient, comfortable, and does exactly what most people need. But it’s not built for people who actually enjoy driving. It’s a very good appliance that happens to be a car.
